GrensGeluiden is het wekelijkse kunst & cultuurprogramma van StadsRadio Breda. Het programma besteedt aandacht aan alle vormen van beeldende kunst, podiumkunsten, literatuur en cultuurhistorie in de regio. Zondag 26 februari wordt een interview uitgezonden van René Oomen met beeldend kunstenaar Hans Meertens en galeriehouder Tom Molenaars nav 'Stardust', het nieuwste kunstwerk van Meertens.
GrensGeluiden wordt live uitgezonden op zondachtochtend tussen 11:00 en 12:00 uur. Op zondagavond 23:00 is er een herhaling en hieropvolgend is het programma terug te vinden in het audio-archief op STADSRTV.BREDA

Hans Meertens will present his new collage based series of works about stardom, death and transitoriness. Gallereo Exhibitions, run by Newcastle-based M.A. Emma McMillan, will represent Hans Meertens at this year's Manchester Buy Art Fair. Now entering its fourth year, Manchester’s leading art buying event will return to the Spinningfields from 27 to 30 October 2011.
Sponsored by Spinningfields and supported by the National Lottery through Arts Council funding, the weekend-long event will host 60 galleries from across the UK which will exhibit works from over 300 artists. In 2010, Buy Art Fair welcomed 5,500 art lovers, collectors, curators and first-time buyers, each keen to see the latest works in contemporary and classic paintings, sculptures and mixed media pieces.
As well as presenting an inspiring collection of art, Buy Art Fair along with its sister event, The Manchester Contemporary, offers informative talks by prominent figures from the art world giving visitors an insight into starting and developing an art collection.

Meertens' art will be on exhibition at this year's NewcastleGateshead Art Fair, which is held in the spectacular Sage music venue on the banks of the River Tyne. Gallereo Exhibitions, run by Newcastle-based M.A. Emma McMillan, will have some truly wonderful pieces of art lined up for the Art Fair, including new works by Hans Meertens, Mark Jessett, Marion Kuit and David Waters to name just a few. The NewcastleGateshead Art Fair has now been running for five years, and is growing at a tremendous rate each year (9000 visitors last year). As a serious up and coming event in the art world calendar, the fair now attracts attention from galleries and collectors from across the UK, and overseas.
The fair is from September 30th - October 2nd, and Gallereo is going to be on stand P4.

Saturday 10th September 2011New website!
Although currently under construction, today's the (onofficial) launch of my new website, powered by Gallereo (UK). Gallereo is a well-built, beautifully designed, flexible system with almost endless possibilities for configuration. It offers artists and photographers the chance to exhibit their artwork, spread the word about their work online and to sell their work independently. My new website will be fully operational and complete with most of my works in December 2011. Please stop by and visit on a regular basis.
